Who Am I?

I have over 18 years experience in education. I have worked as a substitute teacher, math teacher, and chemistry teacher in public and private schools. I have three years full time experience teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Integrated Math at a large, inner-city public high school. I am currently a lecturer/TA in the math department at the University of California at Riverside.

My education includes a bachelors degree in mathematics, an associate degree in chemistry, and many post graduate courses in education. I have participated in the CHAMP Math program put on by UC-Riverside.

My military service was in the Navy. I attended the Navy's Hospital Corpsman School and Pharmacy Technician School. I spent four years active duty at the Naval Hospital, San Diego. Shortly after that, I joined the reserves, finished Field Medical Service School and was attached to the 4th Field Surgical Support Group with the Marines for two years. I am very proud to have been involved with the brave men and women of the Marines. Great job in Iraq!
